Nhật Nguyệt

Editorial process

The Nhật Nguyệt team picks the topic and sources, and our experts draft the content from verified real press/institutional sources. Here are the 4 steps of the process.

1

Select the topic, research real sources

Every article starts from a specific topic (e.g. “the Katê festival of the Chăm people”), paired with 1-3 real source links verified to still be live, drawn from a whitelist of 84 approved sources: 60 licensed Vietnamese news outlets, 16 government and research portals, and 8 specialist reference sites. The system never invents sources and never pulls from unverified sites.

2

The team creates the draft

The Nhật Nguyệt team picks the topic, sources, and content framework in step 1. Our experts will create the draft.

3

Content filter, checking for compliance

Before saving, every draft passes through a filter that blocks phrases violating our stated rules: absolute claims about wealth/health/fate (e.g. “guaranteed to get rich”), unfounded quotes attributed to real people, and content touching sitting political leaders or territorial sovereignty disputes. A flagged draft is not published. This is an automated, rule-based filter, not a substitute for full case-by-case legal review.

4

Publish, then review afterward

At a scale of hundreds of articles, most are published once they pass step 3, and no person reads every article before it goes live. In exchange, the site maintainer periodically spot-checks a random sample for quality and accuracy, and corrects or removes anything found wrong, including reader-reported issues.
