What's in Nhật Nguyệt? A tour of the calendar, reminders, tools and library

Nhật Nguyệt has six main parts: the lunar calendar, family reminders, lookup tools, the knowledge library, prayer texts and the Nhật Nguyệt AI assistant. Most of it works on the web without an account; reminders and family groups need you to sign in. Here is each part, with a way to try it right away.
The lunar calendar and the Today page
Open the app and you see the calendar page: solar date, lunar date, sexagenary day, solar term, the day's festivals and the auspicious hours just below. Swipe sideways to change day, tap a day to look closer or set a reminder. The calendar uses Vietnam time.
Reminders and family groups
Set a death anniversary, full moon or birthday on the lunar calendar once, and the app finds the solar date each year and alerts you ahead of time as you choose. Create a family group and invite relatives with a short code: a reminder set in the group reaches everyone in it. Anniversary reminders link straight to the prayer text for that rite.

Reminders can also show up in the calendar you already use: download a calendar file for Apple Calendar or Outlook, or connect Google Calendar on the web.
33 lookup tools
Lunar and solar date conversion, picking dates for an occasion, auspicious hours, the Lỗ Ban ruler, house direction, house-building age, Tử Vi and Bát Tự charts, numerology, the 64 hexagrams. Each result is a card that shows where it comes from: inputs, rules and every step.

The library and the knowledge map
Articles on calendars, festivals, regional customs and traditional arts, each with sources at the end and a knowledge-type label at the top. The knowledge map arranges articles subject by subject, from basic concepts to in-depth pieces, so you can read in order instead of jumping around.
Prayer texts
Full Vietnamese prayer texts for each rite: death anniversaries, Tết, full moons, moving house, shop openings, with offerings and steps. Names and addresses you fill into a prayer stay on your own device.
Nhật Nguyệt AI
Ask in plain words, such as "what is offered on the seventh-month full moon" or "is my year a Tam Tai year". The assistant answers from our published articles, with numbered sources you can click to read on.

Widgets and watches
Small and medium home-screen widgets show the lunar date without opening the app.
On Wear OS watches and Apple Watch, the watch app shows the lunar date, the sexagenary day, auspicious hours and your family's next three reminders.

How do the web and the app differ?
- Web: calendar, every tool, the library, prayer texts, the assistant, reminders when signed in, personal readings.
- Android app: the same, plus widgets, on-device reminder notifications and the Wear OS watch app.
- iPhone and iPad app: calendar, reminders, groups, the library, the assistant, Tử Vi, Bát Tự and numerology charts, widgets and Apple Watch. Some web tools are not in the iOS version.
