New to Nhật Nguyệt? Where to start

Go the way that fits what you need: checking a date for something, reminding the whole family of an anniversary, reading to understand a custom, or looking up a birth chart. The home page has these four ways in, under "Where would you like to start?".

1. What day is it, and is it a good day for this?
The "Today" way opens the calendar page: lunar date, sexagenary day, solar term, auspicious hours and the day's festivals. For a specific task such as a wedding, groundbreaking or shop opening, use the date picker by occasion: enter the task and a time range, and it filters days by the traditional calendar and states which rules it uses.
2. Big things coming up at home
The "Planning a big event" way groups weddings, building a house, naming a baby and picking dates. For death anniversaries and full moons, install the app to be reminded: set the lunar date once, it converts every year, and the whole family gets it when you invite them into a group. When the day comes, open the prayer text for that rite.
3. Reading to understand
The "Explore" way leads into the library: festivals, beliefs, regional customs and traditional arts. Every article lists sources at the end and carries a label saying whether it is a calculation, a record of custom or the rules of one school. To read in order, follow the knowledge map.
4. Understanding yourself through a chart
The "About me" way opens Tử Vi, Bát Tự and numerology charts. The chart is computed by the machine exactly by each school's rules; the readings are the words of the books and that school, not tested the way science is.
If you want one continuous reading written for your own chart, look at a sample reading first before deciding.
