This text is the version from the South.

How it differs from the common version

It opens with four lines of kệ in Sino-Vietnamese pronunciation ("Kiến văn như huyển ế, Tam giới nhược không hoa") then explains the meaning; it is much longer, ending with "Ai ai cũng đồng nên chưởng trí".

The common version: Sám văn thí thực hồi hướng (Repentance text of the thí thực with dedication of merit) (Thí thực cô hồn 5)
