Nhật Nguyệt 2.0: one family calendar, wherever everyone lives

Grandma opens the app every morning to see today's lunar date. Uncle Minh in Saigon tends to forget death anniversaries. Aunt Lan moved to California years ago and calls home every evening. Nhật Nguyệt 2.0.0 is made for families like that: everyone in a different place, one shared calendar.
What's new on today's calendar page?
Every morning the calendar page carries a painting of Vietnamese culture, different each day. Full moon days, the first of the lunar month, Tết and the Mid-Autumn Festival have their own paintings, and the picture changes on a family death anniversary too.

The painting shows on your watch as well, so a glance at your wrist tells you what day it is.
Which screens does it suit?
The new look uses three familiar colours: cement grey, jade green, and brick red for important days. Text is easier to read in both light and dark mode.

- Phones: upright or sideways, it fits.
- Tablets and foldables: two panes side by side, the list on the left and what you opened on the right.
- iPhone Duo: one task per screen, with the split right on the fold.
- Web and watch: the same calendar, the same family reminders.
The Android app, Android tablets and Wear OS watches get all of the above.
Where does the family talk?
Right under each group reminder. Grandma writes "two trays of food this year", Uncle Minh answers "I'll be home the night before", and Aunt Lan sends a heart from the other side of the world.

Messages sit next to the anniversary, so they don't get buried like in a group chat. Whoever is busy can catch up later from the start.
Where do the family photos go?
Each occasion has a shared photo library, sorted by year. After this year's anniversary photos, everyone can scroll back to last year and the year before.

- Send a heart to photos you love; anyone in the group can.
- Each photo has its own date, even old ones from years ago.
- Uploading needs the Đoàn Viên plan; everyone in the group can view.
When does a reminder ring if you live far away?
At the time where the ceremony happens. If Grandpa's anniversary at home is set for 9 a.m., Aunt Lan in California is reminded at that very moment. It is still the evening before for her, so she has time to call home.

- When you create a reminder, pick the time zone of where it takes place. Vietnam time is the default.
- In your profile, set your own time zone, or let the app follow where you are.
- The app handles daylight saving time in each country for you.
Do photos load on a weak connection?
Yes. On a bus through the mountain passes with patchy signal, photos reload by themselves once the signal returns, no need to close and reopen.
