This star governs joyous events, pregnancy, and childbirth, with the ability to turn misfortune into fortune and dispel calamities. Overview of the Four Peach Blossoms Group
In Tử Vi Đẩu Số (Vietnamese astrology), the Four Peach Blossoms group consists of four stars: Hồng Loan, Thiên Hỉ, Hàm Trì and Thiên Diêu, representing marriage and love. These four stars are divided into two benevolent and two malevolent types, each performing its own task. Among them, Hồng Loan and Thiên Hỉ belong to the benevolent peach blossom type, while Hàm Trì and Thiên Diêu belong to the malevolent peach blossom type.
The Thiên Hỉ star (天喜星) ranks second in the Four Peach Blossoms group, is a benevolent peach blossom star, and belongs to the Quý Thủy element. Unlike Hồng Loan, which governs marriage and celebrations, Thiên Hỉ mainly concerns pregnancy and childbirth. This is an important distinguishing feature that helps differentiate the roles of these two benevolent peach blossom stars.

The Five Elements and nature of the Thiên Hỉ star
The Thiên Hỉ star belongs to Quý Thủy, carrying the energy of yin water, symbolizing softness, nourishment and proliferation. With its Water nature, this star has the ability to connect emotions, nurture affection and create bonds between people. In the structure of Tử Vi, Thiên Hỉ is often regarded as a star that brings joy, jubilation and good things.
What is the Thiên Hỉ star's ability to turn misfortune into fortune?
The most outstanding point of the Thiên Hỉ star is its ability to turn misfortune into fortune, to dispel disaster when meeting inauspicious stars, and to add blessings when facing calamity. This means that when Thiên Hỉ sits beside bad stars, it can partially neutralize the negative impact, helping the fate's owner overcome difficulties more gently. This is why Thiên Hỉ is considered an important rescuing star in the chart.
What is the personality of a person with the Thiên Hỉ star like?
A person with the Thiên Hỉ star in their fate is often described as having a fresh, pleasant appearance, radiating a natural brightness. In personality, they are honest and straightforward, sometimes a bit impulsive but very reliable. Their emotions are rich, they easily empathize with others, and thanks to this they have a wide social circle and form good connections with many people around them.
A special point of people with the Thiên Hỉ star is that they frequently help others naturally, without self-interest. This sincerity helps them receive much goodwill and affection from the community, creating a fine social network.
What is the role of Thiên Hỉ in marriage and reproduction?
What does the Thiên Hỉ star mean regarding happy events and pregnancy?
In the Four Peach Blossoms group, Thiên Hỉ takes on the main role regarding pregnancy and childbirth. When this star appears in palaces related to marriage and family such as the Spouse Palace or Children Palace, it often signals good news about conception and childbirth. This is a clear difference from Hồng Loan, the star mainly responsible for marriage and celebratory ceremonies.
In practical interpretation, when Thiên Hỉ meets good stars regarding children, people often predict that the person will have an easy childbirth and healthy children. If Thiên Hỉ sits in the Fate Palace or Body Palace, the owner often has a affinity with young children and easily enjoys blessings regarding children.
How does Thiên Hỉ combine with Hồng Loan?
Hồng Loan and Thiên Hỉ are often regarded as a pair that complements each other. If Hồng Loan governs marriage and matchmaking, then Thiên Hỉ governs the joy after marriage, which is childbirth and family happiness. When both stars appear together and converge in beautiful palaces, they create a very good combination for marriage and family life, signaling a harmonious married life with children gathered around.
Thiên Hỉ in relation to other stars
Thiên Hỉ with good stars
When the Thiên Hỉ star sits with good stars such as Thiên Tướng, Thiên Lương, Tả Phụ, Hữu Bật, it further brings out its fine qualities. This combination creates a person who both has charm with everyone and possesses good fortune, easily meeting benefactors, living a peaceful and happy life.
Thiên Hỉ with bad stars
A special point of Thiên Hỉ is its ability to partially neutralize the impact of bad stars. When meeting inauspicious stars and malefic stars, Thiên Hỉ can reduce the degree of negative influence, helping the fate's owner avoid great disasters. However, it should be noted that this ability is only relatively effective and cannot completely eliminate the impact of strong bad stars.
How does Thiên Hỉ compare with other peach blossom stars?
Thiên Hỉ and Hàm Trì
While Thiên Hỉ is a benevolent peach blossom, governing legitimate joys in love and marriage, Hàm Trì is a deviant peach blossom, often associated with debauchery and indulgence in wine and lust. A person with Hàm Trì in their fate easily falls into unhealthy relationships, while a person with Thiên Hỉ tends toward pure, lasting relationships.
Thiên Hỉ and Thiên Diêu
Thiên Diêu is a malevolent peach blossom, governing a romantic, amorous nature, easily falling in love and easily having affairs. In contrast, Thiên Hỉ tends toward sincere, stable affection. A person with Thiên Hỉ in their fate is often more faithful and values family more than a person with Thiên Diêu.
However, as with all judgments in Tử Vi, the impact of Thiên Hỉ needs to be considered within the whole chart, together with the interaction between other stars. Whether the interpretation is accurate or not also depends on each person's actual experience, for the ancients often said that within misfortune there is fortune and within fortune there is misfortune, and all good and bad things can transform under certain conditions.
