How it differs from the common version

Sino-Vietnamese text, no Buddhist recitation: opens with "Kính lạy" the Hành khiển of the year and Đại vương Bản cảnh Thành hoàng; the body consists of four-character sentences from "Cung duy: Tôn thần chức tư thổ giới"; ends with "Cẩn cáo". The source prints a Nôm prayer to replace the Sino-Vietnamese passage.

The common version: Prayer text for the opening of a shop

Lines that depend on the occasion

  • (Nếu khấn Nôm thì đến đoạn Cung duy … sẽ khấn:: The person praying chooses to read the Sino-Vietnamese passage from "Cung duy" to "Cẩn cáo", or to replace that passage with the Nôm part from "Trộm nghĩ rằng" to "Kính cáo".
