According to Thiên Lương's Tử Vi nghiệm lý toàn thư, when the Mệnh palace falls into the trio Thiếu Âm, Long Đức and Trực Phù, the book calls this the configuration of loss and poor treatment. The book gives the example of the three ages Tỵ, Dậu and Sửu: when there are four Tỵ, four Dậu or four Sửu (year, month, day and hour of birth all sharing one branch), the Mệnh palace always falls into this configuration. This is Thiên Lương's own reading.
