Quick answerHow does the Táng Thư define the term feng shui?
The inner chapter of the Táng Thư says that qi scatters when it rides the wind and stops when bounded by water; the ancients made it gather so that it would not scatter and gave moving qi a place to stop, hence the name phong thủy, wind and water. The opening line of the book says that burial relies on living qi. Táng Kinh is another name for this same book.
