Quick answer

Who was Triệu Quang Phục and why was he called Dạ Trạch Vương?

Triệu Quang Phục was the son of the Grand Tutor Triệu Túc from Chu Diên district. He followed his father in aiding Lý Nam Đế and was appointed Left General. When the Liang army under Trần Bá Tiên advanced, he withdrew to hold the Dạ Trạch marsh, hiding all fires and smoke by day and using dugout canoes to raid the enemy camp by night, so his contemporaries called him Dạ Trạch Vương.
