Zodiac Compatibility Grid
Vietnamese folk tradition sorts relationships among the 12 zodiac animals into three conventions: Three Harmony (four trios that support one another), Four Clash (three groups of four prone to friction) and Six Harms (six individual pairs prone to misunderstanding). The grid below merges all three, so any pair takes a single lookup.
Read by row and column: find the first animal in the left column, the second along the top row, and the intersecting cell gives the relationship. The grid is symmetric, so either direction gives the same answer. Diagonal cells are two people of the same animal, which belongs to no harmony or clash group.
This is a folk convention offered as cultural reference. It is not the only method, and certainly not a basis for deciding on a marriage or a business partnership.

The three source groupings
Three Harmony: Thân - Tý - Thìn; Tỵ - Dậu - Sửu; Dần - Ngọ - Tuất; Hợi - Mão - Mùi.

The Three Harmony / Four Clash / Six Harms table is a widely used folk convention, not the only method. Some schools also weigh the Heavenly Stem and the Na Yin element before judging compatibility.
